Our focus at Horizons Centre is to empower individuals with disabilities to maximize their abilities and lead meaningful and inclusive lives within the community. A key aspect of our support services is promoting inclusive employment. Individuals with disabilities who are currently employed at businesses in the community tell us that this adds value and meaning to their lives, as well as permits them to contribute to the local economy. Horizons Centre provides support for individuals to build employable skills, prepare resumes, and search for employment opportunities within the community. We support the interview and employment orientation process. Our staff work with the individual and the employer to develop a successful working relationship.
