It was very entertaining. Everyone was very helpful and we recieved packaged lunches and some giveaway gifts.
One of our group was gifted a traditional rattle drum stick.

We did try to park in the front but main street was very busy. Thank
goodness Grandma Lee’s has parking in the back. There was 4 steps that we had to climb up. There was also steps in the front. They do not have a ramp. They do not have automatic doors and there is a small step to get into the building. They do have a patio with seats and umbrellas to sit at. If the weather was nicer, we would have sat outside. It was quiet when we first got there so we found a good place to sit. At 12:00 it got really busy. We are glad we got there early. The tables were clean and the chairs were pushed in. The floors were nice and clean. To order, we had to get up and go into a cafeteria line. Andrew had the chicken noodle soup and a coffee. There was noodles, carrots and chicken in the soup. The noodles made it good. The coffee was good. They do not have specialty coffee so it was just a regular coffee but it still tasted good. Jean had an egg salad sandwich on homemade brown bread. One of the really good things about Grandma Lee’s is that you get to pick what kind of vegetables you want to put on your sandwich. Jean chose pickles, tomatoes, and cheese. The eggs and mayonnaise made the sandwich taste really good. Jean also had coffee. She said the coffee was okay. Amanda had an egg salad sandwich on homemade white bread. Amanda added cheese, cucumbers and lettuce to her sandwich. She gave it a 2 thumbs up! She had a pop to drink. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and patient. We did not have time to have a treat as the line was long and we had to get back to work. Prices were very reasonable. For a small soup and coffee it was $6.25. It was under $10.00 for a sandwich and coffee.
We highly recommend people to go there for lunch. We will definitely go back again.
